Group and Tour Information

Commodore Hotel Tour Picture 001Numerous tour groups have made the Commodore Hotel and Café a special occasion destination. We offer historic ambiance and an authentic nostalgic experience in Downtown Linden, Tennessee which is a town with a population of 900.

Commodore Hotel Tour Picture 002The Commodore Hotel and Café can accommodate up to 90 people in our restaurant and Club Room. We are known for our famous “Commodore Prime Rib” – over a pound of center cut, premium beef and cooked to perfection , has been acclaimed by one and all to be the best they have ever tasted.

We also have great luncheon entrees available, including our popular Dixie Chicken, named for a song about “The Commodore Hotel” – to our Linden Burger – a half pound of select beef, hand-patted and seasoned in our kitchen, then topped with caramelized onions, melted cheddar cheese, and Linden sauce. This sauce, of our own creation, was created from customer suggestions – a sweet and zesty, dark Buffalo Chipotle sauce. Buffalo in honor of the nearby Buffalo River, not the famous hot wing sauce! Breakfast is no stranger to our chefs, either. Customers return again and again for our Kitchen Sink omelet – a giant, plate-overlapping creation including two cheeses and just about every vegetable and breakfast meat you can think of! It has everything, but….. (You knew that was coming…)

Commodore Hotel Tour Picture 003The Commodore Hotel and Café offers more than just a fabulous dining experience. Be sure to plan enough time for your groups to enjoy the nostalgia and amenities that our facility and downtown offer! From our front foyer with a sepia mural of the hotel in 1946 to our garden, which provides seasonal produce for our restaurant, a delightful stroll is designed to help digest your meal. Our garden features a fence made by a local basket weaver, her biggest basket ever, and a 12’ diameter hand cut glass sundial. While taking your stroll to the garden you will notice a beautiful courthouse on the National Register of Historic Properties, a Civil War Marker detailing the downtown Civil War Battle, and numerous public art projects offering a kaleidoscope of color and highlighting local talent. For the activity-minded, we have horse shoes, a children’s play area and unique boutiques, galleries and gift shops. Or just relax and sit in our beautifully landscaped garden surrounded by colorful, seasonal flowers or numerous benches throughout the town. Don’t be surprised if people wave to you as they drive by… they still do that here in Linden.

We look forward to seeing you sometime in the near future! If you have any questions or would like to make reservations, please call us at 931.589.3224. Contact Us today
